Memphis

Whether it is to the Elvis songs echoing through the streets, or up and coming musicians, visitors will be constantly grooving in this historically music-filled city. Beale Street and Graceland are some of the most musical and culturally rich places to visit within Memphis. Music isn’t the only thing to enjoy here; Memphis offers a poignant look at the Civil Rights Movement as well. Martin Luther King Jr. petitioned for the rights of Black workers here in 1968, and later was unfortunately assassinated in the Lorraine Motel, which is now the site of the National Civil Rights Museum.
